Spring on the horizon

Inamongst the decomposing leaves there are new blooms, a snowdrop and some cheery aconites and the daffodils are well on too.

And there was other signs of light at the end of the tunnel, my mother got the call for her Covid vaccine, a week on Wednesday.  However, that provoked a bit of a panic as, typically, #3 son (the escort and driver) has a dental appointment at exactly the same time which was set 6 weeks ago and which he really needs.  So a flurry of calls and emails and a couple of hours later thankfully a very acceptable substitute had been found, her (be)friend(er) C.

That threw my day but I did achieve some things - the laundry, found the missing cat collar (lost for the second time), chased off another bully cat, spoke to Y, removed the plants from the shower, completed some Community Council, College and Choir admin and now about to sit down and share the rest of 'Staged' with L.

Tomorrow - packing and list writing.

F2F - 0
Phone calls - 6
Virtual - 2
