Rain stopped gardening

Middle of the night catch up with Fortunately and Newscast then back to sleep.

I finished off something I should have done yesterday and then started in the front but the rain keeps getting in the way so up to Mortonhall to get some soil and rubble bags for the excess chuckies.

I may just decide to get wet.

The buttercup field at Mortonhall was very cheery.

It did then clear up and turned out quite warm. I spent a good 5 hours in the front, with another trip to Mortonhall for 2 more bags of compost. I've bagged up the excess chuckies, lifted 2 sleepers, replanted lavender and roses and carnations. It looks a lot better though 1 more bag of compost would have sufficed. Being out the front means chatting to the neighbours and passers by.

I was quite shattered by the time I finished at nearly 8. Ate, drank and started to watch a programme I remembered of seen so switched to last night's 'Last Leg'.
