Life's Little Moments

Nature's Needlepoint

If you look closely at the wings of a butterfly, you will notice that the scales on the wings look like the finest needlepoint.  It always fascinates me to be able to capture this kind of detail under magnification.   This was one of 7 released today, flying in memory of Della, Andy, Janet, Don, Pete, Pat and Phyl's dad.

I had great fun looking at all the TT entries last night. As always, it's hard to pick just 10, so I took some liberty and picked 11.  Honestly, they are all great, and if you have a moment, please do have a look (click on the tt378 tag below).  In no special order, Monarch Hearts go to
Incredibish for a wonderful bedazzled little bee
RHelena because I really do love images of textured things
Sheol for a fab curly-winged flyer
BlackTulip for having the impeccable timing to catch an egg drop
JDO for catching a lady with wings unpacked

And for the Monarch HM's, again in no special order
LesTension  for managing to catch Yellowjackets looking pretty for a change
Ilja for a bit of whimsy
Ingeborg for a dazzling tiny yellow hunter
DollyDoug for a lovely tiny sculpture
Helwild for a fresh and lovely Admiral
Maureen6002 for a gorgeous exotic swallowtail

Thanks again to everyone who contributed this week.  Next week's tag will be #tt379, and it will be my last week to host.

Jax is currently sound asleep on the sofa although I'm sure he will manage to do something either naughty or entertaining before the day is out.

I think we have a buyer for the RV and if hit goes through, we are both going to feel very good about it.  There is a story...

Dark with peanut butter - yum!
