Wrong Side of the Tracks and TT Results

You know how there are two sides to a town? The right and wrong side of the tracks.
Well most Blackheath Blippers (except WalkingWombat but she lives in an outer suburb so that doesn't really count) would agree that the eastern side is the right side.
But when I am blipless and see there is going to be a sunset and have to sprint across the highway and railway line and right down Bundarra Street, I sometimes wish I lived on the wrong side.

TinyTuesday's theme this week was "Fauna"
I expected it to be difficult for those of us experiencing winter but northern hemisphere blippers found the heatwave just as problematic.
However there were still some very good results

Favourites:
tilde for a stunning dragonfly with amazing colours and bokeh
CleanSteve for another dragonfly and its feather bed in great focus
V1k1 an amazing shot of a praying mantis laying her eggs
KangaZu I can't capture a bird in flight at all, let alone a perfectly composed hummingbird.
Smokey I hate to have to do this as I hate hairy spiders but it does deserve a fav.

Honorable Mentions:
kellynicol61 and loveseveryminute for cute turtles.
TreeHugger and Tigger101 for some rather unpleasant infestations.
Wildwood a very pretty bee on lavendar and Pleach's  Chimney Sweep on the comfrey.
NatureLover a tiny squirrel. I love the central composition.
dbifulco a katydidnymph which appears to be looking back at her.
HoneycombebeachAH14, and ChrisF all fell back on flora, but also worth a mention.

Thanks to everyone who joined in.

Next week's theme is "Jewellery" (TT109). This is because I have always found it surprisingly difficult to photograph.
I hope to do a bit more research myself before then but here are a couple of links to get you going, or just Google your own.

As you will see, it appears to be quite a complex subject.
If you prefer, or are short of diamonds, just do something special. Maybe a trinket or ornament that is meaningful to you.
