Fun in Saltaire

A very windy and rather drizzly start to the day, but we had planned a trip to Saltaire so went ahead late morning.
It was still windy but not too damp and we even saw a bit of sun.
Grace satisfied her need to visit the shops down Victoria Road and then we went down to the play area by the river adjoining Roberts Park.

It wasn’t too busy so Eda was able to enjoy the trampoline and the springy boat whilst Jude was on the swing. She was loving it and you may remember Eda in this cardigan, I thought I had one of her wearing it on a swing when I was looking after her just before her first birthday when Grace went back to work. I didn’t find one but there is one Here of her when we visited a Gloucester Road cafe at that time, which we did a lot!

Eda would normally have done some scooting but we had a problem with her rear wheel yesterday which Alex has sorted out for her this afternoon, ( he’s on holiday this week).

While waiting for Grace in a shop I noticed a new (to me) food shop called Digins Hut sold Arancini. There were three flavours, so bought one of each for lunch. They were very nice but also quite substantial and each came with a pot of tomato salsa and salad plus wooden cutlery and napkins! Some left for my lunch tomorrow!

We’ve had another good day and Grace even managed to fit in a run this afternoon.
