Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again

Finished reading Rebecca last night and today's faffed about with picture is inspired by the famous opening lines. It's the fourth time I've read it now and my feelings towards the characters have changed a lot over the years but my love of the novel hasn't. I like Daphne du Maurier's style of writing and Rebecca just drew me in from the haunting first chapter to the very last page. Thoroughly enjoyed it once again and will probably revisit Rebecca's Tale by Sally Beauman at some point as it's a very cleverly written sequel/prequel which turns everything on its head.

Thank you to those who took part in January's Love Blippin' Books (#LBB1). Don't worry if you still want to take part in last month's theme of 'Revisit a Favourite', just tag it LBB1 whenever you've finished. The books blipped (so far) are:

euniceM - Little Women by Louisa May Alcott here
SparseRunner - The Weirdstone of Brisingamen by Alan Garner here
YellowBalloon - The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank here
Livresse - The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Code 612 Qui a tué le Petit Prince? (Who killed the Little Prince) by Michel Bussi here
